Four masked men break into the Anand family home and take the entire family hostage. The kidnappers demand that Dr Mira Anand, the family matriarch and a brilliant surgeon, kill the Chief Minister of Haryana, who is in her hospital for a routine surgery. The operation is scheduled for the following day. If the Chief Minister does not die during the surgery, Dr Mira’s family will be killed.
The story depicts the family complexities in relationships between the family members as well the issues between the four kidnappers while the series is building a crescendo to the final climax- the ultimate motive of the leader of the kidnappers.
